Lean Deployment Executive

The Lean Deployment Executive will function in a leadership and supervisory capacity, directing training and consulting operations in a manner that meets and exceeds customer expectations. Responsibilities of the position include creating an efficient and effective lean six sigma / logistics and supply chain training program for all LeanCor customers and coaching LeanCor clients through their lean deployment initiatives. The Lean Deployment Executive will have ultimate responsibility for making sure that all students or clients receive the most up-to-date and valuable level of knowledge, as well as mentoring and coaching in lean six sigma and logistics and supply chain management.

The position will also involve support for new business growth and effective, professional representation of LeanCor to our customer base.

Job requirements include:

  • Develop, execute, facilitate, and deliver training curriculum for LeanCor customers in green belt, black belt, lean and six sigma, and logistics and supply hain management.
  • Coach and mentor green belt and black belt candidates
  • Develop, enhance, or improve training materials, lectures, and hands-on exercises for existing and new programs
  • Gather the voice of the customer to understand unique training needs
  • Lead lean supply chain assessments and lean system audits
  • Execute lean supply chain network optimization projects for LeanCor clients
  • Support in development and mentoring of LeanCor employees
  • Perform other assigned activities such as project assignments and support of new business growth
  • Travel requirement: could potentially exceed 75%

Ideal candidate would posess the following:

  • In-depth knowledge of lean six sigma
  • Prefer candidate to be certified black belt or master black belt
  • Preferred to have a minimum of 5 years supply chain operations experience
  • Preferred to have 3-5 years experience delivering lean six sigma training
  • University degree and/or college diploma required
  • Exceptional leadership, communication and problem solving skills.

Specialist, Lean Logistics Engineering

Lean Logistics Engineering Specialists play an integral role in implementing lean principles within our customers’ supply chains. He/she will be expected to continuously improve our customers’ performance by applying both lean tools (PDCA, A3 planning/problem solving, root cause analysis, process mapping, poke-yokes, visual management, standard work, level flow, etc.) and logistics industry best-practices (network designs/optimization, dynamic routing, trailer load optimization, PFEP/packaging analysis, returnable containers, etc.). Additionally, he/she will be expected to advance LeanCor’s processes by improving the effectiveness and efficiency of standard work, and enhance LeanCor’s capabilities through continued application of learning within the fields of lean and logistics. With a scope of 1-2 customers, Engineering Specialists will be expected to interact with multiple contacts throughout the supply chain and multiple software tools on a daily basis. Job location is in Florence, KY.

  • Maintain, execute, and improve upon daily standard work
  • Communicate effectively with internal team members and supply chain contacts

Lean Logistics Transportation Specialist

Job requirements include:

  • Adherence to applicable DOT regulations and standard operating procedures
  • Drive carrier discipline through daily event management

  • Request for quote development including carrier rate negotiation and qualification
  • Proactive issue identification and utilization of lean problem solving methods/tools to drive continuous improvement

Ideal candidate would possess the following:

Manager, Lean Logistics

Manager, Lean Logistics is responsible for on-site customer implementation of lean logistics systems. This includes vision generation, customer management, strategic planning, and execution. Job location is on-site at LeanCor customer, location TBD.

Job requirements include:

  • Develop/maintain customer relationships
  • Identify customer needs assessment and VOC
  • Strategic Hoshin planning
  • Project management and execution
  • Act as an agent of change through teaching and leading others
  • Proactive issue identification and utilization of lean problem solving methods/tools to drive continuous improvement
  • Lead customer presentations/meetings
  • Provide leadership to LeanCor engineering/route management groups
  • Travel requirement: approximately 50%

Lean Tools Programmer

Lean tools programmers develop, maintain, and improve the software and processes used by customers, suppliers, and team members for a variety of logistics functions. Programmers should have a basic knowledge of terms and concepts related to logistics, transportation, and lean (LTL, truckload, dedicated, milk runs, lean logistics, supply chain, etc.) and demonstrate skills in multiple programming languages.

Candidates must possess the following:

  • Familiarity with a variety of database types
  • Experience with EDI
  • An intermediate-level understanding of PHP, Javascript, HTML, MySQL, Microsoft Office Suite, and FTP
